Obituary

William (Bill) C. Brehm Sr., age 79, of Lake Zurich, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the age of 79 after several years of declining health.

William was born on June 13, 1943, to father Joseph Albert Brehm and mother Louise Brehm and grew up in Buffalo Grove, IL with his two brothers (Kenneth and Robert) and two sisters (Marilyn and Carolyn). 

William enlisted in the United States Navy in October of 1960 and was honorably discharged October 14, 1966. Following his military service, he met and married Katherine Joas, and together had three sons, William C. Brehm Jr, Timothy Michael Brehm, and Joseph Edward Brehm.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife Katherine; his parents; his brother, Kenneth; and his sister, Caroline.

He is survived by his children, William Jr. (Kristin), Timothy (Stephanie), and Joseph; grandchildren, Kayla McQueen, Ben Brehm, and Emily Brehm; step-grandchildren, Patrick McFadden (Samantha & Addisyn), Brian McFadden (Tara); and one great-granddaughter Charlotte McQueen.

Upon his request, there will be no wake. The funeral interment will be held on May 30, 2023 attended by immediate family and close friends of William.
