William Felix Kaczynski

May 23, 1938 ~ September 30, 2021 (age 83)

William (Bill) Kaczynski passed away on September 30th, 2021 at Northwest Medicine McHenry after a brave battle with bladder cancer.  He was born on May 23, 1938.
Bill lived in the Chicago area his entire life. He worked with his family at the Kaczynski & Sons Polish Sausage store in Chicago, and later spent 30 years as a highway maintenance foreman with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Bill was a past president and long time member of the Midwest Train Collectors Association and an avid model railroader.
Bill married the love of his life, Virginia, on January 31,1959.They raised two children in Chicago, Hinsdale and later Crystal Lake.
Bill was pre-deceased by his father, Felix Kaczynski and mother, Sophia Kaczynski, mother in law Frances Frenette Haven and fathers in law Henry Frenette and Alfred Haven.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Virginia Kaczynski, beloved brother Felix Kaczynski, son William Kaczynski and daughter in law Beth Kaczynski, daughter Virginia Deron and son in law Keith Deron, grandsons Matthew Kaczynski and Jack Kaczynski, granddaughter Valerie Myers and her husband Matthew Myers, Julie Miller DeLaPaz and her husband Eddie DeLaPaz and  great grandchildren  Rowan William Myers and Annabelle June Myers. Bill hoped to see his great grandson by Julie and Eddie DeLaPaz, who is due in November.
As a dog lover, Bill was the proud owner of 6 dogs in his lifetime. His latest furry companion, Buddy, is heartbroken at his loss.
Bills greatest legacy and joy was his beautiful wife Virginia and his family. His love story with Virginia is a tale of two young parents who persevered through the loss of their family business and built a lifetime of love that will endure in our hearts and memories.
When we think of him, which we will often do, it will always be with a smile. His personality filled any room he was in. We will miss you. Rest in peace Bill...
