Zella L. Grzelak

Zella L. Grzelak, of McHenry, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 91.

She was born November 28, 1929 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Maud May (nee Deemer) Shuster.

Zella will be remembered for being a diehard Cubs fan, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Zella is survived by her children, Joyce (Ed) Przepalkowski, Mary Grzelak and Thomas Grzelak; her grandchildren, Lisa Ruf, David Smith, Kelly (Greg) Winn and James Przepalkowski; her great-grandchildren, Lori and Max Ruf; and her siblings, Herbert Shuster and Ella Krizek.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Chester Grzelak, Jr.; and seven other siblings.

A memorial service for Zella will be planned for a later date.
